It is not within our professional ethics and norm to accept a client who is seeking for individual therapy/counseling while being treated individually by another therapist. Before contacting us, please discuss with your current therapist.

We are available from Monday to Saturday, except Sundays and public holidays, between 9am and 9pm for any inquiries. We will reply to you within 48 hours. (Each therapist has a different time schedule for appointment.)
Confidentiality: It is our ethical responsibility to maintain your privacy and confidentiality and to practice within the confines of the codes of ethics outlining the values, principles, and standards in clinical practice. Your personal information will not be disclosed without your agreement or written consents except under the very specific circumstances. Mandatory reporting obligations may occur; 1. when you are at high risk of harming yourself and/or others. 2. when the abuse and neglect of children or vulnerable adults are suspected. 3. when we receive a court order.
Missed appointment and cancellation policy: If you are unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please kindly give us a 24 hour advance notice, to ensure that you will not be charged for the full appointment fee. If less than 24 hours notice is given, you will be expected to pay for a missed appointment.
Fee and payment: The fee for session (1 session is 50 minutes) will be determined based on your income and ability to pay, as well as your therapist's sliding scale. Please discuss about the fee with your therapist. The payment is cash and/or bank transfer only.
Insurance: The services for psychotherapy and counseling are not covered by Japanese National Health Insurance. If you are covered by international private insurance plans such as Tricare, GeoBlue and others, please contact your insurance provider for your benefits on outpatient mental health services before contacting us. We will provide the documentations necessary for you to get reimbursement or a total/partial coverage.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP): EAP is a confidential, short term, face to face counseling services for employees who struggle with personal issues that affect their work performance. Our therapists are providers of EAP for PEACEMIND JEAP and WORKWAY. If you are employers and interested in us as your EAP provider, please feel free to email us.
